Mobile Guitar Tuition Service - Coverage

I provide a service to travel to each individual student's house, so that you can learn in the comfort of your own home. Check out my student testimonials to see the areas/locations I travel to.

The mobile service may incur a small fee for students who live further afield.

Style of Lessons

The lessons will be tailored to your needs and individual requirements, whether it is the structure and discipline of the "Registered Guitar Tutor grades" or just having fun learning to play your favourite songs.

The lessons are always in a relaxed atmosphere, focusing on both guidance and encouragement. I am happy to teach all styles of music on either the electric or acoustic guitar and I teach various techniques such as fingerpicking, strumming, slide guitar (with open tunings), rhythm/lead guitar improvisation, modal scales, caged system etc.

Group lessons are also available, if you and a friend (or friends) want to learn to play together. This is often a lot of fun, as I help the students to structure and organise themselves to "jam" with each other! This is a great way of learning to play with other musicians.

Student Levels and Ages

I teach students of all abilities and I find that as long as the student wants to learn, age is irrelevant.

Prices for Dominics Guitar School

• The standard hourly rate is £25 per hour, but this is reduced to £20.00 per hour at off-peak times (before 6pm).
• Reductions are also available for block bookings.
• Cancellation fee/retainer – 24 hour's notice is required for all cancellations, otherwise half the price of the lesson booked will be charged.
